CAD Automation APIs
Automation software for SolidWorks, Creo and Siemens NX that builds assemblies, generates their technical drawings and produces all CAD/CAM outputs automatically, with no manual work in between.
Mechatronics engineer, software developer and assistant general manager with a strong background in complex algorithm design and operational leadership. Currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Animation and Game Technologies at Hacettepe University.
Runs technical operations and engineering teams for clients in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Ugurcan Sonmezoglu is a software developer and manager whose career combines software, engineering, team and project management, and game technology.
He is Assistant General Manager at MicroQBit LLC, a subsidiary of US-based Certusoft Inc. The role covers software delivery, team coordination and client projects in the United States, Europe and Asia, alongside hands-on development of APIs for SolidWorks, Creo and Siemens NX.
He joined Certusoft in 2022 as a software development and design engineer, working on computational geometry and automated 3D modelling for web-based product configurators, and moved into delivery management within a year.
In parallel, he is completing a master's degree in Computer Animation and Game Technologies at Hacettepe University. His projects there include an Unreal Engine 5 puzzle game, a 2D physics engine written from scratch and a full motion-capture pipeline.

Client-owned code, so these are described rather than linked.
Automation software for SolidWorks, Creo and Siemens NX that builds assemblies, generates their technical drawings and produces all CAD/CAM outputs automatically, with no manual work in between.
Constraint rules, algorithms and geometry behind web-based product configurators, turning every valid combination of options into a correct 2D and 3D model.
Planning, management and coordination of software and engineering projects for clients in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Games
A puzzle and thriller game built in Unreal Engine 5. Developed by a team of four at Hacettepe, with Ugurcan on software.
Animation and Physics
Rigid body dynamics, collision detection and impulse-based resolution written from scratch, with live energy tracking.
Computer Vision
Vicon data cleaning, character rigging in Blender and an OpenCV marker tracker that keeps skeletons intact through occlusion.
Computer Vision
Real-time video filters applied globally or through a lens that follows the cursor, plus HOG and SVM pedestrian detection.
Games
A first Unity game covering physics, collisions, obstacle spawning and scoring.
Animation and Physics
Three animations generated entirely by script: a rolling beach ball, keyframed cubes and a soft-body jelly ball.
Animation and Physics
Hundreds of scripted cylinders rise and glow to count from 0 to 10. The idea behind the dot matrix at the top of this page.
Animation and Physics
Rigid-body letters fall while snow swirls through wind and vortex force fields, with scene and render set up in code.
Games
The code-breaking board game with validated guesses and abstract Turtle graphics feedback.
Games
A 4×4 card-matching game with timed flip-back, input locking and live scoring.
Web and Tools
An offline vocabulary trainer with 501 words and five separate mastery checks for each word.
Web and Tools
The first React website Ugurcan built, kept exactly as written on day one as a record of the starting point.
